Glossary term

Production Lab

A public practice environment where scene builds, prompts, revisions, continuity fixes, and finished examples are documented as a working system.

Definition

The Production Lab is where AI Film Artists tests the workflows behind the finished scenes. It is part classroom, part workshop, and part proof engine.

Instead of only publishing final results, the lab shows the build logic that produced them. That makes the educational value much higher and the portfolio proof much stronger.

In practice

A Production Lab entry might show the original brief, the prompt sequence, the failed outputs, the continuity adjustments, the editing choices, and the final deliverable.

Why it matters

The lab matters because public workflow documentation builds trust faster than polished claims alone. It turns process into an asset.
